It was great, the music and drinks were good. Just a shame that there were not a lot of people there. We will definitely look out for more events at the front room cafe.

The level of musicianship was excellent, and David Kofi was a particular highlight. There's no doubting the level of talent on display! Unfortunately, this wasn't matched by the front of house sound. For example, I couldn't hear David Kofi's guitarist or saxophonist, and the sound engineer was painfully slow unmuting David's microphone when he wanted to speak to the audience after each song. Similarly, while the drum kit was mic'd up, it was not coming through the PA system, resulting in the mix sounding completely unbalanced. Truthfully, I can't help thinking there could be a better venue with a premium sound system for hosting Wycombe's annual jazz festival (and other, more regular music events).
